Rio shooting back students

18 April 2011 last updated at 23: 02 GMT Students in front of the Tasso da Silveira school students read a special edition of paper on their return to school students at the school in Brazil, where an armed man killed on 7 April 12 children, have returned.

The victims were between 10 and 13 years old and all but two girls.

The shooter, former student at the school in Rio de Janeiro killed after being wounded by the police.

The first days sessions with the students and therapeutic activities such as painting would be taken by individual advice, said the Director of the school.

A group of parents that are created from the school of Tasso as Silveira in the West of Rio met with local officials on Monday regarding a permanent medical and psychological unit at the school.

Local education Secretary Claudia Costin said had the classroom, where the shootings happened, were repainted to delete traces of bullet holes and blood.

She said, the two rooms, where the largest number of students were killed was in a library and an IT room turns.

In one of them, he read the suicide note that was found on him after the shooting.

In the other, he tells the humiliation that he says that he suffered in the school. In it he says, he hopes, what "would serve as a lesson".

The police says he was in a classroom with two revolvers and people they shoot in the head at close range lined up.

Security video shows the children the hallways to escape, as he loaded his weapons. He scored for himself in the head, shot in the leg by a policeman.

Four of the 12 students who were injured in the attack remain in the hospital.
