Missing Dorset coast diver

April 21, 2011 last updated at 21: 14 GMT is missing a diver and after another has flown getting in trouble the Dorset coast in the hospital.

The alarm grew at about 1730 BST when one of divers ill after a rapid rise.

The man was placed in a specialized unit in Poole, while a comprehensive search was launched to the other male diver about three kilometres from Lyme Regis to find.

The search was cancelled BST at about 2100. The men were from the blue turtle boat was diving.

Andrew Jenkins, Coast Guard monitoring Manager, said: "Although search and rescue missions has led actions, a diver timely medical treatment... was not the missing diver located."

"At this time, it to speculate about the cause of this particular incident is wrong."

"But the second heavy diving accident off the coast of Dorset has already that this season and I would remind like on this occasion all divers to ensure that they are well prepared they are for the level of the dive will make fully trained and their equipment is properly managed."

A spokesman for the RNLI said: "it was a widespread search of at least eight vessels."

"Our lifeboat came from other ships including Weymouth RNLI lifeboat, the rescue boat Sidmouth and RFA gold Rover."
