Three arrests over couple murder

25 April 2011 last updated at 09: 35 GMT Italian grandparents Guiseppe and Caterina Massaro who were murdered Giuseppe Caterina Massaro dead at their home three men were found and arrested for the murder of an elderly Italian couple in Wolverhampton on Friday.

A double murder investigation was launched after Guiseppe Massaro, were found dead in Woden road, Park village on Friday 77, 80, and his wife Caterina.

West Midlands Police said two Wolverhampton men at the age of 21, 32 and a 30-year-old man from Birmingham were arrested overnight.

They added that a post mortem examination on next Monday.

The arrests come as held special prayers in memory of the couple in the Church, which they used to visit.

Was a mass held at the 1800 BST on Sunday in St. Patrick's Church in new cross.

'Sadly missed'

On Sunday, the couple family said they "loss devastated by her".

In a statement published by the West Midlands said power, the family: "words cannot describe the devastation that has struck our family."

"unfortunately missed to their lives and this has seriously affected many of our friends and our family."

The couple BST still seen last Thursday on 2000, had two children and a number of grandchildren and moved to England in 1960.
