M & S is heading back to Paris marks and Spencer has announced it is the French retail market, 10 years after shutting down all European branches enter again.The company said it one would open 15,000 square foot store on the Champs-Elysees in Paris this year.
M & S also said that it was a series of its simply food stores under franchise, in Paris talks with his partner SSP.
The retailer also plans to launch an international online service.
M & S all European stores closed in the year 2001 to focus on core UK business.
"Great brand awareness has marks and Spencer here France and a place in the heart of customers", said Marc Bolland, marks and Spencer's Chief Executive.
The new French store and website are expected to be before the period Christmas open.
Local knowledge
