Blast bomb thrown at PSNI patrol

20 April 2011 at 17: 04 GMT, that a blast bomb triggered a police foot updated last patrol in the area of Meadowbrook CRAIGAVON.

The police said that the officers on routine patrol at about 1010 BST on Wednesday when the device was thrown.

None of the officers - of the PSNI neighborhood team - were injured.

District Commander, said Chief Supt Alasdair Robinson it was "A mindless assault on police officers just trying to do their jobs".

"It is that one of the officers not killed or seriously injured was, by sheer luck," he added.
